New Boats: SŌLACE 42CS

By John Brownlee

SŌLACE says their new 42CS was engineered to maximize onboard social and offshore fishing functionality. The 42CS represents the next evolution in the SŌLACE center console lineup designed by Stephen Dougherty. The boat features a dual-row helm seating layout along with a rear mezzanine seat, or a summer kitchen. There’s also an optional rear glass enclosure with side curtains co the helm seating area can be enclosed, converting it to a pilothouse-style boat.

The cockpit and helm area maximize usable space with protected seating behind the windshield, while the over-sized hardtop provides increased shade coverage and improved passenger comfort. The result is a layout that blends entertainment capability with long-range offshore functionality.

SŌLACE’s dual-step performance hull was engineered to deliver high-speed stability, precise handling characteristics, and a smooth, dry ride no matter what the ocean throws at you. The stepped hull architecture reduces drag and enhances fuel efficiency, providing extended range and better overall performance.

As with all SŌLACE models, the 42CS integrates highly engineered systems, premium materials, and meticulous manufacturing processes to deliver exceptional reliability, safety, and onboard functionality. The company’s design philosophy is to create boats built by boaters, for boaters, balancing offshore fishing capability with refined comfort and sophisticated aesthetics.

The 42CS debuted at the 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show. SŌLACE Boats; solaceboats.com
