Scout Boats classifies their models 33 feet and up as their S-Class, which is considered the top-of-the-line in Scout’s lineup. The new 435 LXF Li-Ion is a high-tech addition to that line, built with cutting-edge Carbon Epoxy Construction (carbon fiber/E-glass is the main material used in the epoxy infusion process) and Scout’s dual stepped-hull design, while also simultaneously pairing it with sophisticated appointments and technologies.
One of the most interesting aspects of the 435 LXF Li-Ion is a Fathom e-Power lithium-ion battery management system from the Navico Group. These take the place of a generator, and the lithium-ion batteries are conveniently charged by the Mercury engines. The 435 LXF Li-Ion provides superior seakeeping ability, fit-and-finish and performance, and it comes standard with a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer, second row helm seating with heated seats, an air-conditioned cabin, and port and starboard hydraulic beach platforms with interchangeable ladder and receivers on both platforms.
Other standard features include LED lighted storage boxes and hatches, generous dry storage including the forward sun lounge dry box, a powder-coated, patented hardtop with curved glass enclosure, an anchor camera in the bow, an electrically actuated transom stern seat with dual 45-gallon livewells and three Garmin 9217 MFDs. Belowdecks, you’ll find a drawer refrigerator, a galley sink, an enclosed shower and head area, plus a single-burner glass stove cooktop, a microwave, and a 32-inch LED Smart TV.
Notable options include radar, VHF, and night vision camera choices, numerous LED underwater light configurations, an ice maker, teak and stainless helm seats, rocket launchers, a bow thruster, an engine flush kit, and an upper helm flybridge with full helm controls.
Like all Scouts, the 435 LXF Li-Ion is the result of extensive in-house research and a highly skilled design team that works closely with engineering to take concepts from blueprint to production. Scout Boats; scoutboats.com
