Pursuit Boats will begin its 50th year in business in 2027, and to celebrate that milestone, the company will introduce the all-new S 288, the next evolution of one of the brand’s most successful models. The new S 288 was created to perform many tasks well. It will easily handle serious offshore fishing but will also be adept at cruising and family adventures. Versatility is the key, guided by a bedrock Pursuit principle: purposeful engineering creates better experiences on the water.

“The S 288 has earned a loyal following over the years, and our goal was not simply to update the model, but to elevate it,” said Christopher Gratz, President of Pursuit Boats. “Customer feedback guided every aspect of this new boat. We enhanced storage, improved functionality, and sharpened the overall design style to create a boat that adapts seamlessly to a wide range of on-water pursuits. The result is one of the most versatile 28-foot center consoles found on the water today.”

The S 288 has one of the largest cockpits in its class and also features a redesigned ergonomic helm with available dual 16-inch MFDs. An integrated dive door swings open 180-degrees for diving and landing big fish and bow boarding ladder makes getting n and out of the boat a breeze. There’s also a factory-wired Garmin Force Kraken trolling motor option, the first ever offered on a Pursuit. Fishing features include large, insulated fish boxes, a livewell, plentiful rod storage, and flexible seating for passengers and crew alike. It also cones wit a spacious sub-console head compartment with lots of storage space.

Pursuits have always been well engineered and featured robust construction practices, and the S 288 continues that tradition. It’s built using a proven 24-degree deep-V hull, a patented fiberglass structural grid system, and well-designed systems that simplify ownership and inspire confidence in a wide range of conditions.
