Gemlux has introduced a new all-around light that is both stylish and safer to operate.
Raising and lowering lights or antennas on top of a T-top shouldn’t require two hands. We all know how sketchy it can get when you must stand on the gunwale of your center console to reposition those things. But thanks to an innovative new design from Gemlux, this process just got easier and much safer.
The new Gemlux 140600 Series All-Around White Lights were designed with safety and convenience in mind. They come with a new spring-loaded base with a knob that makes it a cinch to raise and lower the light with one hand, allowing you to hang on with the other. This quick-positioning design provides added stability for raising and lowering lights and VHF antennas as well. You can position the lights in one of three positions: straight up, 90 degrees forward or 90 degrees aft.
The new lights are made of polished and durable 316 stainless steel and provide 360-degree visibility up to two nautical miles, per USCG statutes. The bases fit into traditional mounting patterns for ease of installation. They also happen to be stylish and sleek looking and are sure to add a touch of flair to any center-console boat.
Key features of the lights include:
- Safer One-Handed Operation – Keep one hand free for added stability while raising and lowering the light
- 316 Stainless Steel Construction – Built for harsh marine environments
- Quick-Positioning Design – Easily adjust and secure the light
- ABYC A-16 Certified
- USCG Approval: 33 CFR 183.810
- 2-Nautical-Mile Visibility
- 360° White Light Arc
- Traditional Bolt Pattern – Fits existing mounting locations
The new Gemlux 140600 lights are available in 12-inch or 24-inch lengths. Gemlux; Gemlux.com.
